Our annual intra-collegiate fest, Aarohan 2025, is a spectacular celebration of talent, imagination, and unstoppable energy. From thought-provoking arguments at the Debate Competition to the innovative entrepreneurial flair displayed in AdMania, participants demonstrate intellect, strategy, and creativity at their best. The artistic spirit shines brightly through stunning Rangoli creations and expressive Canvas Painting. The fest also celebrates style and skill with the glamour and precision of Makeup Artistry, while gaming enthusiasts bring electrifying excitement to the arena with intense rounds of BGMI. Adding a flavorful twist, Cooking Without Fire challenges participants to craft delicious delights using creativity and presentation skills alone. Aarohan is more than just a fest — it’s a platform for students to explore their passions, collaborate with peers, and create unforgettable memories.
The freshers’ party is a perfect blend of celebration, talent, and togetherness, creating memories that will be cherished for years to come. The evening sparkles with vibrant performances as seniors and freshers take the centre stage with soulful group songs, high-energy group dances, and a dazzling ramp walk that showcases confidence and charisma. The interactive Q&A rounds add excitement and spontaneity, giving participants a chance to express their personality, wit, and aspirations. The evening also features a special prize distribution ceremony recognising students for their outstanding performances across various competitions. More than just a celebration, the Freshers’ Party symbolises new beginnings, friendships, and the vibrant cultural spirit of our institution.

The event offers students a chance to experience the festive spirit of Garba and Dandiya while celebrating the rich cultural traditions of India. Dressed in colourful attire and dancing to lively beats, students enjoy a memorable night with their batchmates, strengthening friendships and creating joyful campus memories. Dandiya Night reflects the institute’s spirit of community, cultural diversity, and student engagement beyond academics.
“UDAAN”, our grand farewell ceremony, is dedicated to honouring the journey of our final-year BSc and MSc students. The event is a heartfelt tribute to the memories, milestones, and achievements that have shaped their academic journey. This day is an emotional blend of laughter and nostalgia — where joyful performances met teary-eyed goodbyes. Students and juniors came together to present vibrant cultural performances, heartfelt speeches, and special moments that reflect the strong bonds built over the years. One of the highlights of the evening is the much-anticipated Mr. and Miss Farewell titles, celebrating not just confidence and personality, but also the spirit and contribution of the students to campus life. “UDAAN” is more than just a farewell — it’s a celebration of journeys completed and dreams ready to take flight. As our students spread their wings toward new horizons, they carry with them the values, memories, and lifelong connections formed here.

Every year, Dr. B. Lal Institute of Biotechnology celebrates International Day of Yoga with enthusiasm and a spirit of wellness. The event brings together students, faculty, and staff to practice yoga and reflect on the importance of physical health, mental balance, and holistic well-being. Through guided yoga sessions and awareness activities, participants experience the benefits of this ancient Indian practice while promoting a healthy lifestyle. The celebration highlights the institute’s commitment to nurturing not only academic excellence but also the overall well-being of its students.
The social life at BIBT offers students a range of opportunities to meet new people, pursue their interests, and have fun. Whether it's through clubs and organizations, campus events and activities, athletics and recreation, or off-campus excursions, students are sure to find plenty of ways to stay busy and connected to the community.
We want to create a ragging free campus. Ragging is a damaging form of interaction of the seniors in college or school with the juniors, newcomers or first years. It involves insults, running errands for seniors and many other complex activities. To check the hazard of ragging, Dr .B. Lal Institute constitutes an Anti-Ragging Cell. All freshers are advised to report any incidence of “Ragging” to the class coordinators/HoDs and other faculty members. We also procure affidavits from the students and parents for anti-ragging commitments and code of conduct duly signed for 75% attendance. We strongly promote ‘Don’t Rag, but also don’t be a mute witness to ragging’.
