Dr. Aparna Datta

She currently serves as the Executive Director & Principal at Dr. B. Lal Institute of Biotechnology, where she leads the Institute's efforts in promoting training and research. With more than 20 years of experience at the forefront of academics and management, Dr. Aparna is known for her forward-thinking approach and ability to lead fast-growing education institutions. She has been instrumental in the conception and establishment of various higher education institutions such as colleges, universities, healthcare institutions, and skill development centers. As a hands-on leader, Dr. Aparna is closely involved in a wide variety of tasks important for the day-to-day functioning of the Institute, from admissions, marketing, and resource planning to recruitment, teaching, and faculty training, as well as student counseling. She also manages close ties with various government funding agencies such as DST, DBT, ISCA, MSME, RMOL, and RSLDC. Dr. Aparna is a strong believer in the power of education to drive positive change and is dedicated to creating an atmosphere of mutual trust, collaboration, and excellence at the Institute. She is a firm believer that all students can learn and grow provided they have a good learning environment, dedicated and knowledgeable leadership, a committed and focused team of teachers, an encouraging community, and a supportive family. With her exceptional career and leadership, Dr. Aparna is well-suited to her role as Principal at Dr. B. Lal Institute of Biotechnology and is committed to helping the Institute achieve its goals and objectives  Dr. Aparna Datta has an M.Sc. in Zoology and a Ph. D. in Zoology from Jai Narayan Vyas University, Jodhpur. Prior to her current assignment, Dr. Aparna has worked as a dean of science, faculty coordinator of Study Centre in Vardhman Mahaveer Open University at Jaipur, and as a Management Representative for ISO 9001:2008. She has also authored and published a textbook - "Fundamental Zoology" for XI class students which is approved and accepted by Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education, Ajmer. She was awarded with the 9th Principal & Teachers Award 2020 by Simply Jaipur & Thar Sarvodaya  Sansthan in association with Rajasthan Foundation. She also received the 'Women Empowerment Award 2016' from then Chief Minister of Rajasthan - Mrs. Vasundhara Raje and Best Teacher Award in the year 2002. She received  “Certificate of Appreciation for efforts and services at H1N1 Public health Emergency in Rajasthan” in the year 2015, and a Certificate of Appreciation for Good Performance" in  2011,  by Dr. B. Lal Clinical Laboratory Pvt. Ltd.
