Ms. Shruti Dhingra

Shruti Dhingra is an Assistant Professor at Dr. B. Lal. Institute of Biotechnology. She has been involved in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and has also been looking after the co-curricular club at the institute for several years. Shruti believes in providing a safe, collaborative, and inspiring environment to help students meet their fullest potential emotionally, intellectually, and socially.

Her research interests include plant biochemistry, specifically focusing on phytochemical studies on various plant extracts. She has several publications in reputed journals. Shruti has received a Gold medal in Master of Technology in Biotechnology from Amity University, Rajasthan, in 2012. In addition, she has received several awards, including the Great Milestone Award in Feb 2023, On Spot Award in 2022, and You Make the Difference Award in 2021 from Dr B Lal Institute of Biotechnology.

Shruti completed her Bachelor of Science and Technology in Biotechnology from Amity University, Noida, in 2010. She worked as an Assistant Professor at Jagannath University, Jaipur for two years and has been employed with Dr. B. Lal. Institute of Biotechnology since 2014. Besides her academic and research work, Shruti is also a Co-curricular Club Coordinator and a member of the Admission and Marketing department. In her free time, she enjoys listening to music and traveling.
